On the pictures appear learners from the Siyabonga Care Village Learnership group. 25 learners are enrolled for the Social Auxiliary Work NQF Level 4 (23993) Learnership at Siyabonga Care in Vredenburg. Training commenced on 11 January 2016 and is due for completion no later than April 2017. Most of the learners enrolled for this course works at Siyabonga and their ages vary between 19 to 51 years of age. Siyabonga is situated in Vredenburg at the West Coast and focuses mainly on HIV/Aids, TB and terminally ill persons. The organisation accommodates physical disabled adults on a long term basis and offers a step-down care and respite facility. The Siyabonga group concluded their theoretical training for cycle 3 and are busy with their practical training.
