From 27 to 30 March 2017 our group of Hawston students came together for Module 2 of the “Be the Difference” Programme sponsored by the Johann & Gaynor Rupert Foundation and presented by CEFA.

Over the four days they learned more about writing a professional CV, preparing for a job interview, goalsetting, time management and basic project management. The theoretical component of the course was alternated by fun, yet educational activities and exercises in which all students participated energetically contributing their unique and individual creative qualities. Students were also encouraged to dig deeper into themselves to understand what motivates them and to look at alternative ways to deal with the big and small challenges that they face on a daily basis. It is an honour for CEFA to be involved with this group of enthusiastic young adults exploring ways to develop themselves and to actively pursue various opportunities to make a difference not only in their own lives but also in their communities.
