Dear Colleagues,
THE OUTCOME REGARDING A CALL FOR A PROCESS EVALUATION RESEARCH PROPOSAL: FREE STATE PROVINCE
It gives me great pleasure to give you feedback regarding the recent call for proposals to conduct a process evaluation study of the Social Auxiliary Work training programme for the Department Social Development, Free State Province.
Thank you to each and every one of you that responded to the request and to those who contributed to make the process possible. I wish to announce that the selection committee once again decided to allocate the tender to the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT).
cefa is committed to service delivery of excellence and it is for this reason that we partner with credible entities like the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) as part of our Social Investment and to ensure quality of the project. Together with our partner we conduct a community well-being situation analysis to provide the Department of Social Development with the data needed to effectively prioritise essential interventions and to focus training and resources on the critical gaps hindering the attainment of "a better life for all". The training commenced on 10 May in Bloemfontein and involves 50 learners and 17 mentors.
Attached you will find some background information of CPUT as well as the CV of Prof. de Wet Schutte, from the Faculty of Science’s Department for Environmental and Occupational Studies (DEOS), who will be heading the research team for this study. We look forward to inform and perhaps even involve you next time in future tenders.
Yours sincerely,
Dr Karien Lubbe
